Report of the Chairman of the Board of Directors and of the Director
2021 was characterised on the one hand by strong economic growth with rising stock market prices and on the other hand by the ongoing pandemic. Against this background, compenswiss (compensation funds AHV/IV/EO) achieved a net return on investments of 5.28% (market portfolio after hedging - previous year: 5.22%).

Asset management at the heart of our business
compenswiss is a federal institution under public law of the Swiss Confederation based in Geneva. It has legal personality, keeps its own accounts and is registered in the Commercial Register of Geneva. The institution is responsible for managing the compensation funds of the Old Age and Survivors' Insurance (AHV), the Disability Insurance (IV) and the Income Compensation Insurance (EO) schemes.
