A positive operating result
Overall, insurance-related income exceeded charges by CHF 3 219 million.
Contributions of CHF 47 147 million represent 71.0% of total income.
In 2024, the net result from investments of CHF 2 889 million contributed to the insurance profits and the overall positive result. This resulted in an increase in total equity. The positive investment result reflects the recovery in financial markets towards the end of the year.

Social insurance schemes
Since 1 January 2019, compenswiss has been an independant public law institution of the Confederation that jointly manages and administers the compensation funds of the OASI, InvI and LEC schemes. The aggregated accounts of compenswiss are divided between the social insurances. The latter are shown separately in order to reflect their respective activities.
